Meme coins are the loudest corner of crypto: born from jokes, powered by communities and capable of moves that make Bitcoin look sleepy. They are also where retail investors lose the most money. This meme coin price prediction hub puts seven of the biggest names — Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Pepe, Bonk, dogwifhat, Floki and Official Trump — through the same forecasting model we use for every other asset.

We’ll show you the model ranges, but we’ll spend just as much time on the things meme coin forecasts usually skip: supply math, unit bias and the specific risks of each token. All forecasts are algorithmic estimates based on technical analysis and historical data. They are not financial advice, and for meme coins especially, the error bars are huge.

Key takeaways
  • Every meme coin on this page trades 80% to 98% below its all-time high.
  • Our model gives meme coins high sensitivity to the Bitcoin cycle and low long-run growth assumptions — expect big swings around a modest trend.
  • Prices in fractions of a cent are not cheap by themselves; total supply decides what is realistic.
  • Insider concentration, unlocks and celebrity-driven sentiment are the main risks across the group.

Two things jump out when you compare this table with our AI crypto predictions or the majors. First, the model’s long-run growth inputs for memes are among the lowest we use — for TRUMP it is zero — because there is no underlying cash flow or usage trend to compound. Second, the cycle sensitivity is among the highest, so the yearly paths swing hard around the 2028 halving window.

The Supply Math Behind Meme Coin Price Predictions

Most viral meme coin predictions ignore one number: total supply. Price per token multiplied by tokens in circulation equals market capitalisation, and market cap has to be bought with real money.

What popular price targets would actually require

Supply math
CoinApprox. circulating supplyHypothetical priceImplied market cap
Dogecoin~157 billion$1~$157 billion
Shiba Inu~589 trillion$0.01~$5.9 trillion
Shiba Inu~589 trillion$1~$589 trillion
Pepe~420.69 trillion$0.01~$4.2 trillion
Bonk~88 trillion$0.01~$880 billion
Floki~9.6 trillion$0.01~$96 billion

Supply figures from our November 2026 data snapshot. Hypothetical prices are illustrations, not forecasts.

For scale: the entire crypto market was worth roughly $2.6 trillion in early November 2026. A one-cent Shiba Inu or Pepe would each be worth more than everything in crypto combined today. A one-dollar SHIB would exceed the world’s yearly economic output several times over.

What is unit bias?

Unit bias is the psychological pull toward owning many whole units of something. Owning 50 million tokens feels better than owning 0.001 of a Bitcoin, even if both cost the same. Meme coin creators know this, which is why so many launch with supplies in the trillions. The low per-token price creates an illusion of cheapness and room to run.

Do burns change the math?

Token burns — sending coins to an address no one can spend from — reduce supply, but rarely enough to matter. Vitalik Buterin’s 2021 burn removed about 41% of SHIB’s original quadrillion tokens in one go; ongoing burns since then are tiny by comparison. When a project announces a burn of billions of tokens, check what share of total supply that represents. Usually it is a rounding error.

Coin-by-Coin Meme Coin Forecasts

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Dogecoin was created in December 2013 by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a joke and became the original meme coin. It runs on proof-of-work and mints 10,000 DOGE per block, about 5 billion a year, so supply never stops growing — although the percentage inflation slowly falls.

Dogecoin has advantages no other meme has: more than a decade of trading history, US ETF products (including Grayscale’s GDOG and 21Shares’ TDOG) and the lowest volatility in this group. Its risks are perpetual inflation, no active development roadmap and dependence on celebrity attention. The model’s 2030 average is $0.1025. Our full Dogecoin price prediction goes deeper.

Shiba Inu (SHIB)

Launched in August 2020 by the pseudonymous “Ryoshi,” SHIB set out to be a “Dogecoin killer” and built a wider ecosystem: ShibaSwap, the Shibarium layer-2 and companion tokens BONE and LEASH. In September 2025 the Shibarium bridge suffered an exploit of roughly $2.3–2.4 million through compromised validator keys.

The bull case is a large, loyal community and an ecosystem that goes beyond a single token. The bear case is a supply so large that burns barely register, anonymous leadership and a security record that dented trust. The 2030 base case is $0.000005665. See the Shiba Inu price prediction for the monthly table.

Pepe (PEPE)

PEPE launched in April 2023 on Ethereum with no team allocation, no tax and an explicit “no roadmap” stance. Its 420.69 trillion supply is fixed, 93% went to a liquidity pool whose LP tokens were burned, and contract ownership is renounced.

It is the only coin in this group currently trading above both its 50-day and 200-day averages, and an ETF filing from Canary Capital exists. Its risks are zero fundamentals, whale concentration and heavy exchange holdings. The model’s 2030 average is $0.000005245; the Pepe price prediction page covers the details.

Official Trump (TRUMP)

TRUMP launched on Solana on 17 January 2025, days before the presidential inauguration, by entities tied to Donald Trump. About 80% of the 1 billion supply is held by creators and affiliates, vesting through roughly 2028, so new tokens keep entering the market.

This is the highest-risk token on the page from a structural point of view. It fell about 98% from its January 2025 peak and set a new all-time low in early November 2026. With Democrats winning both chambers of Congress in the 3 November 2026 midterms, political scrutiny of presidential crypto ties may increase — see our midterm elections analysis. Our model assigns TRUMP zero long-run growth; its 2030 average is $1.50.

Bonk (BONK)

BONK launched on Christmas Day 2022, airdropping half its supply to Solana users, developers and NFT holders. It became Solana’s flagship dog coin, with the BONKbot trading bot and the BONK.fun launchpad. A Nasdaq-listed company, Bonk, Inc., now holds BONK as a treasury asset.

BONK’s fortunes track Solana memecoin activity closely. Its risks include governance with low participation and fierce competition from newer launchpad tokens. It also has the highest volatility of the group. The model’s 2030 base case is $0.000004081; the Bonk price prediction breaks it down by month.

Floki (FLOKI)

FLOKI launched in June 2021, named after Elon Musk’s dog, and positions itself as a “utility meme coin.” It runs on Ethereum and BNB Chain, operates the Valhalla play-to-earn game, and has a European exchange-traded product from Valour.

The utility angle gives FLOKI more to talk about than most memes, but usage of its products remains small and its transaction-tax and treasury structure has changed over time. The model’s 2030 average is $0.00002757, with a maximum of $0.00007606.

dogwifhat (WIF)

WIF is a Solana meme launched in November 2023 — literally a dog wearing a hat. Its supply of about 999 million is fixed, with no team allocation or unlocks, which makes its per-token price look higher than other memes even though its market cap is the smallest here.

WIF’s appeal is simplicity and a famously organised community. Its risks are pure dependence on sentiment, no ETF and constant competition from newer Solana memes. The model’s 2030 base case is $0.1960, compared with a 2028 average of $0.3235.

Meme Coin ETFs: Real Demand or Just Headlines?

One of the strangest developments of the past year is that meme coins now sit inside regulated investment products. After the SEC approved generic listing standards for crypto ETPs in September 2025, issuers rushed to file for almost everything.

  • Dogecoin has the most mature lineup: REX-Osprey’s DOJE (September 2025, a ‘40-Act fund rather than a pure spot product), Grayscale’s GDOG (November 2025) and 21Shares’ TDOG (January 2026).
  • Pepe has a spot ETF filing from Canary Capital, first filed in May 2026 and amended in October 2026. It has not been approved.
  • Bonk has leveraged products filed by REX-Osprey and Tuttle, but no approved spot ETF.
  • TRUMP has filings from Canary, REX-Osprey and Tuttle, none approved.
  • Floki has a European exchange-traded product from Valour.

Do these products move prices? So far, not much. Dogecoin ETF flows have been modest — 21Shares’ TDOG held only around $2.7 million in mid-2026. An ETF makes a meme coin easier to buy, but it does not create demand on its own. Our crypto ETF impact analysis compares meme products with Bitcoin and Solana funds.

Comparing Risk Across the Group

Not all meme coins carry the same kind of risk, and the differences matter more than the forecast numbers.

Dogecoin’s main problem is inflation; its supply grows every minute, so it needs constant new demand just to hold its price. Shiba Inu and Pepe have the opposite issue: supply is enormous, so realistic price targets are tiny. Bonk and WIF depend on Solana’s memecoin scene staying lively. Floki depends on its utility products finding users. TRUMP stands apart, because most of its supply belongs to insiders who continue to receive unlocked tokens.

Volatility follows a similar pattern. In our data, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are the “calmest” at roughly 65% annualised, while Bonk and dogwifhat exceed 100%. Higher volatility means wider model ranges — and a greater chance of hitting the minimums as well as the maximums.

Why Meme Coin Forecasts Are Especially Uncertain

Every crypto forecast is uncertain. Meme coin forecasts are uncertain squared. Our model can measure volatility, momentum and the Bitcoin cycle, but it cannot measure the things that actually make memes move: a viral post, a celebrity mention or a sudden migration of traders to a new token.

Three structural risks run through the whole group:

  • Holder concentration. Whales and exchange wallets control large shares of supply in most meme coins, and insiders control most of TRUMP.
  • Attention decay. Each cycle has new favourites. Many 2021 memes never came back, and newer launchpads mint thousands of competitors every week.
  • Liquidity cliffs. Smaller memes can lose most of their value in hours when sentiment flips, and leverage makes those moves sharper.

In every past bear market, meme coins have sat at the extreme end of the drawdown tables.

How Meme Coins Move Through the Crypto Cycle

Historically, meme coins rally late in bull markets, after Bitcoin and larger altcoins have already moved and traders reach for higher risk. That is why our model gives memes the strongest sensitivity to the Bitcoin four-year cycle: their modelled peaks cluster in 2028–2029, after the expected April 2028 halving, and fall back sharply in 2030.

The flip side is that memes usually suffer the deepest losses when the cycle turns. Over the twelve months to early November 2026, most coins on this page lost between half and more than four-fifths of their value, while Bitcoin fell by roughly a quarter. If the cycle repeats, the model’s bullish maximums are possible; if it fails, the minimums will be closer to reality.

A Safer Way to Approach Meme Coins

If you still want meme exposure, a few rules reduce the damage when things go wrong:

  1. Cap the allocationKeep meme coins to a small slice of your crypto holdings — an amount you could lose entirely.
  2. Do the supply math firstBefore believing any target, multiply it by circulating supply and compare the result with today’s total crypto market.
  3. Check who holds the supplyLarge insider or exchange concentration means big sellers can appear at any time.
  4. Plan your exitsUse the crypto profit calculator to set target and stop levels before you buy.

Frequently asked questions

Which meme coin has the best price prediction?

No meme coin has a reliable edge. In our model, Dogecoin gets the steadiest path because it has the longest history and lowest volatility in the group, while newer tokens like WIF, BONK and TRUMP have wider ranges and weaker long-run assumptions. A higher percentage in a table also comes with a higher chance of large losses.

Can Shiba Inu reach $1?

Not realistically. With roughly 589 trillion SHIB in circulation, a $1 price would imply a market value of about $589 trillion, several times the world's annual economic output. Even $0.01 would require a market cap larger than the entire crypto market today. Burns are far too small to change that math.

Can Dogecoin reach $1?

It is mathematically possible but would need a huge move. At about 157 billion DOGE in circulation, $1 implies a market cap near $157 billion, many times its current value and above its 2021 peak valuation. Dogecoin's supply also grows by about 5 billion coins a year, which raises the bar over time.

Are meme coins a good investment?

Meme coins are speculative assets driven by community, attention and market liquidity rather than cash flows. Most have lost 80% to 98% from their highs, and many smaller ones never recover. If you buy any, treat it as money you can afford to lose entirely. This page is not financial advice.

Why are meme coins so volatile?

Their prices depend almost entirely on sentiment and attention, with little underlying usage to anchor value. Large holders and exchange wallets control big shares of supply, and leverage amplifies moves. In our data, meme coins show annualised volatility from about 65% for Dogecoin to more than 120% for Bonk.

What is unit bias in crypto?

Unit bias is the instinct to prefer owning many whole tokens over a fraction of one. It makes coins priced at fractions of a cent feel cheap, even when their total market value is large. Price per token tells you nothing about value on its own; market cap and supply do.

Will meme coins go up in the next bull run?

Historically, meme coins have rallied hardest late in bull cycles, which is why our model gives them high sensitivity to Bitcoin's four-year cycle. But each cycle has new winners, and many previous favourites never returned to their highs. Past cycle behaviour is no guarantee of future gains.
