Artificial intelligence is the biggest technology story of the decade, and crypto has tried hard to claim a piece of it. This AI crypto price prediction page cuts through the noise: it covers the top 10 AI-related tokens our model tracks, what each one actually does, and the forecast ranges our algorithm produces for them.
We’ll be upfront about one thing. Many lists of the “best AI crypto” stretch to twenty or thirty names by including any token that mentions AI in a press release. We don’t. The ten coins here all have a core purpose tied to AI — compute, agents, data or identity — and each one is tracked by our model. Every forecast below is an algorithmic estimate based on technical analysis and historical data, not financial advice.
- The AI tokens we track are down between roughly 70% and nearly 100% from their all-time highs, many of which were set in 2024.
- Annualised volatility ranges from about 90% to above 120% — higher than Bitcoin, Ethereum and most large altcoins.
- Projects fall into four groups: AI marketplaces, compute networks, agent platforms and data or identity layers.
- The model expects the sector's strongest years around the 2028 halving, with wide ranges and deep possible drawdowns.
The AI Crypto Coins We Track, Ranked
The table orders the ten tokens by market capitalisation. Rank is about size, not quality or expected return. Prices and model values re-anchor to the live market in your browser.

Signal = 50/200-day moving averages + RSI(14). Averages are model estimates, not targets.
Two quick observations. First, the “AI” label covers very different businesses: NEAR and ICP are full blockchains, while Render and The Graph sell one specific service. Second, size is no shield. Even the largest names here have lost most of their value since 2024.
What Makes a Coin an “AI Crypto”?
We use a simple test: the token must pay for, govern or secure something that is meaningfully about AI. In practice, the tokens on this page fit four buckets.
- AI marketplaces — networks where participants supply AI work and are paid in tokens. Bittensor is the main example.
- Compute networks — decentralised supply of GPUs for rendering, model training or inference. Render, Akash and Aethir belong here.
- Agent platforms — infrastructure for autonomous AI agents that hold wallets and transact. Virtuals, the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and NEAR’s agent push fit here.
- Data and identity layers — The Graph indexes blockchain data for apps and AI agents; Worldcoin builds proof-of-personhood to separate humans from bots; ICP hosts full applications, including AI-built ones, on-chain.
That diversity matters for anyone looking for the best AI crypto. These tokens tend to move together in the short run because traders treat “AI” as one theme. Over years, though, their fates depend on very different things.
Coin-by-Coin AI Crypto Price Predictions
Each card below explains what the project does, what could lift it, what could sink it and where our model’s ranges sit. Coins with a dedicated forecast page are linked for deeper analysis.
NEAR Protocol (NEAR)
What it does: NEAR is a sharded proof-of-stake blockchain co-founded by Illia Polosukhin, one of the authors of the landmark “Attention Is All You Need” Transformer paper. It now focuses on chain abstraction, NEAR Intents and AI agents that act across chains.
Drivers: a US spot ETF (Bitwise’s NRR) listed around late September 2026, and validators approved cutting annual inflation from 5% to 2.5%. NEAR is also the only coin here with a strong 12-month gain behind it.
Risks: fierce competition among layer-1 chains and fee revenue that remains low relative to issuance. After its big run, the price sits far above its 200-day average, which leaves room for mean reversion.
Model range: the 2030 base case is $4.67, within a band from $1.36 to $15.18.
Bittensor (TAO)
What it does: Bittensor is a marketplace of roughly 128 subnets, each a competition to produce an AI service such as inference, training or data. Rewards are paid in TAO, which has a 21 million cap and Bitcoin-style halvings; the first came on 14 December 2025.
Drivers: scarce supply, the Dynamic TAO upgrade that lets the market direct emissions, and spot ETF filings from Grayscale and Bitwise.
Risks: stake concentration, subnets that earn emissions without real users, and the difficulty of valuing a network paid mostly in new tokens.
Model range: the 2030 average is $396.27, or +78.8% versus today. Read the full Bittensor price prediction for monthly and long-term detail.
Internet Computer (ICP)
What it does: built by the DFINITY Foundation, ICP aims to be a “world computer” that runs entire apps and websites on-chain. Its Caffeine AI app builder, which reached versions 2 and 3 in 2026, lets users create apps by describing them in plain language.
Drivers: sovereign-subnet deals, including a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan’s Digital Authority in February 2026, and a proposed plan to cut inflation sharply.
Risks: ICP has lost nearly all its value since its 2021 launch, set a new all-time low in August 2026, and still faces criticism over early-holder distribution and DFINITY’s governance influence.
Model range: the model’s 2030 average is $3.14, with a maximum of $8.87.
Worldcoin (WLD)
What it does: World, backed by Tools for Humanity (Sam Altman and Alex Blania), uses an iris-scanning Orb to issue World ID, a proof that a user is a unique human — a tool designed for an internet full of AI bots.
Drivers: a growing base of verified users and a roughly 43% cut in the daily unlock rate in July 2026.
Risks: more than six billion WLD still to unlock, privacy and biometric probes in several countries, and a large insider allocation. Its RSI is currently deeply oversold, which hints at how heavy recent selling has been.
Model range: the 2030 base case is $0.4833, from a low of $0.1202.
Render (RENDER)
What it does: Render, created by Jules Urbach of OTOY, connects people who need GPU power for 3D rendering and AI workloads with node operators who have idle GPUs. It moved from Ethereum to Solana in November 2023.
Drivers: a burn-and-mint design where users burn RENDER to pay for jobs, a fixed maximum supply of about 644 million, and expansion into AI compute capacity.
Risks: competition from other decentralised GPU networks and from large cloud providers, and heavy sensitivity to swings in the AI narrative.
Model range: the model’s 2030 average is $2.54, versus a 2028 average of $3.20.
Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL)
What it does: Virtuals is a launchpad for AI-agent tokens on Base and Solana. VIRTUAL is used to launch and pair new agent tokens, and in 2026 the project added new launch mechanisms and an agent-commerce revenue network.
Drivers: a fixed 1 billion supply and direct exposure to activity in AI-agent tokens.
Risks: it depends on speculative agent-token cycles, which can vanish quickly, and on team wallet behaviour. Its history is short, so the model’s inputs carry more error.
Model range: the 2030 base case is $0.9024, with a range up to $2.66.
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET)
What it does: FET is the surviving token of the 2024 merger of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol. Fetch.ai, founded in 2017, builds infrastructure for autonomous agents.
Drivers: one of the longest track records in AI crypto and an established agent-development community.
Risks: Ocean Protocol left the alliance in October 2025, and Fetch.ai backed a lawsuit alleging that FET converted from OCEAN was sold. Former members’ supply and governance disputes weigh on confidence. FET also has the highest volatility on this list.
Model range: the model’s 2030 average is $0.2514, from $0.0608 to $0.9707.
The Graph (GRT)
What it does: The Graph indexes blockchain data into queryable “subgraphs” so apps — and increasingly AI agents — can read on-chain information quickly. Its Horizon upgrade went live in December 2025, and its 2026 roadmap targets institutional SQL access and AI-agent data services.
Drivers: an essential, if unglamorous, service for Web3 apps, plus a push to become a data layer for AI agents.
Risks: no hard supply cap, around 3% yearly issuance, competition from centralised indexers, and a price that sits about 99% below its 2021 high.
Model range: the 2030 base case is $0.0265, compared with today’s $0.0195.
Akash Network (AKT)
What it does: Akash is a decentralised cloud marketplace where people rent computing power from independent providers, paying in AKT or stablecoins. Built with the Cosmos SDK by Overclock Labs (co-founded by Greg Osuri), it launched its mainnet in September 2020 and added GPU leasing in 2023, which pushed it into the AI-compute race.
Drivers: demand for cheaper GPU capacity for AI training and inference, a capped maximum supply of roughly 389 million AKT, and one of the longer operating histories among decentralised compute networks.
Risks: competition from other GPU networks and from hyperscale cloud providers, a small market cap that makes the price easy to move, and a peak back in April 2021 that it is still more than 90% below. Our dataset has no exchange monthly history for AKT, so its model inputs carry extra uncertainty.
Model range: the model’s 2030 base case is $0.8645, within a band from $0.2595 to $2.72.
Aethir (ATH)
What it does: Aethir runs a decentralised GPU cloud aimed at AI workloads and cloud gaming, pooling enterprise-grade GPUs from independent operators. Its ATH token launched on 12 June 2024 alongside the network’s mainnet, and node operators, stakers and compute providers are rewarded in ATH.
Drivers: the same GPU-shortage thesis that supports Akash and Render, plus a focus on gaming as a second source of demand.
Risks: Aethir is the youngest and smallest token on this page. Roughly half of its 42 billion maximum supply was in circulation in late 2026, so future token releases are a real overhang. ATH has fallen about 96% from its June 2024 high and set a new low in August 2026. With no exchange monthly history in our dataset, the model has very little to anchor to.
Model range: the 2030 base case is $0.006636, compared with today’s $0.004945.
Matching AI Coins to an Investment Thesis
Searching for the “best AI crypto” usually hides a more useful question: best for what? The ten tokens above express very different views about how AI and blockchains will meet.
If your thesis is that open networks will one day compete with centralised AI labs on actual model quality, Bittensor is the most direct expression of it. If you think the bottleneck is hardware — that GPUs will stay scarce and someone will profit from pooling idle capacity — Render, Akash and Aethir are the cleaner fits, with Render the most established and Aethir the youngest. A belief that AI agents will soon hold wallets and pay each other points toward NEAR, Virtuals or FET, each with a very different risk profile: NEAR is a diversified layer-1, Virtuals is closely tied to speculative agent-token launches, and FET carries alliance-governance baggage.
Data and identity theses are slower burns. The Graph only wins if on-chain apps and agents keep needing indexed data at scale, and Worldcoin only wins if proof-of-personhood becomes a standard that regulators accept. ICP is a bet that full applications, including AI-generated ones, will move on-chain.
None of these theses is proven. Spreading exposure across several of them reduces the chance that one failed idea wipes out the position — though in a crypto-wide selloff, as 2026 showed, diversification within one sector offers limited protection.
How AI Tokens Behave in a Market Cycle
AI tokens are high-beta assets. When Bitcoin rises, they usually rise faster; when it falls, they fall harder. Our model captures this with cycle-sensitivity settings well above Bitcoin’s for every coin here, which is why their forecast paths peak around 2028–2029 and cool in 2030. Our Bitcoin four-year cycle analysis explains where that pattern comes from.
There is also a narrative layer the model cannot see. AI tokens rallied hardest in early 2024, when AI headlines dominated. In 2026, analysts pointed to money rotating out of crypto and into AI stocks as one reason the whole sector struggled. A fresh wave of excitement — or a sharp AI-stock correction — could move these coins far outside their model ranges.
Risks Specific to AI Crypto
Beyond the usual crypto risks, AI tokens share a few of their own:
- Narrative dependence. Prices often move on AI headlines rather than network usage.
- Token unlocks. Projects like Worldcoin still have large amounts of supply to release.
- Competition with Big Tech. Centralised AI companies have far more capital, data and compute than any token network.
- Hard-to-measure revenue. Many networks pay contributors mostly in new tokens, making it hard to tell real demand from subsidised activity.
- Regulation. Biometric data (Worldcoin) and securities rules for tokens are both active policy areas.
If you prefer a broader, less theme-driven view, our model-ranked crypto watchlist scores coins on forecast upside relative to volatility, and AI tokens’ high volatility is a big reason they rank lower there.
How to Use These AI Crypto Forecasts
Treat the ranges as context rather than targets. A sensible workflow looks like this:
- Start with the thesisDecide which kind of AI exposure you actually want — compute, agents, a marketplace or a data layer.
- Check the range, not the averageLook at the minimum for each year and ask whether you could hold through that outcome.
- Run your own scenariosOur AI crypto price predictor simulates 2,000 paths for any coin and amount.
- Size the positionUse the crypto profit calculator to see what gains and losses would mean in dollars.
The method behind every number is documented in how crypto price predictions work. For the wider market, our crypto bull run prediction looks at what a sector-wide recovery would need, and the full predictions hub lets you compare AI coins with majors like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI crypto to buy?
There is no single best AI crypto for everyone. Bittensor (TAO) is the largest pure AI network, NEAR is the biggest by market value in our list but is a general-purpose blockchain, and Render sells GPU compute. Each carries different risks. Compare model ranges and fundamentals on this page, and remember these are estimates, not financial advice.
How did you choose the top 10 AI crypto coins?
We only include tokens our model tracks with market data and whose core purpose is genuinely related to AI: compute, agents, data or identity. Ten coins meet both tests, and we order them by market capitalisation. Rank reflects size only, not quality or expected return, and tokens that merely mention AI in marketing are left out.
Are AI crypto tokens linked to the AI stock boom?
Loosely. AI tokens often rally when AI themes are hot in equity markets, but they do not share in the profits of AI companies. In 2026, analysts cited capital rotating into AI stocks as one reason crypto weakened. Token prices depend on crypto liquidity and each network's own adoption.
What is the AI crypto price prediction for 2030?
Our model gives each AI token its own 2030 range, shown in the comparison table above with live re-anchoring to current prices. For most of the group the 2030 base case sits above today's price, but the minimums are well below it. AI tokens are among the most volatile assets we cover.
Which AI crypto has a spot ETF?
Among the coins on this page, NEAR is the one with a US spot ETF trading, after Bitwise's NRR listed around late September 2026. Grayscale has filed for a spot Bittensor product (GTAO) and Bitwise for a TAO strategy fund, but no spot TAO ETF was confirmed trading as of November 2026.
Why have AI crypto prices fallen so much?
Most AI tokens peaked in early 2024 during a burst of AI enthusiasm and are now down roughly 70% to nearly 100% from their highs. The broader crypto bear phase since October 2025, heavy token unlocks for some projects, governance disputes and competition from centralised AI providers all contributed.
